Description
Extend your sewing skills by learning a variety of sewing and creative techiques to enchance all your projects, including the basics of free motion, quilting, patchwork, overlocking, heirloom, create and attach piping, pintucks, and couching. You will learn intermediate construction techniques to achieve a more proffesional finish. Learn how how to insert a zip, create buttonholes, covered buttons, pockets, lining, facings, stitch with Jersey Fabrics, Denim, silky, fine fabrics and so much more
You will create samples to take home with you for future reference.
We will help you choose a simple commercial pattern and suitable fabric for your project.
Each session will start promptly at 6pm and finish at 8pm.
The total cost of this course is £185 for 6 sessions.
To ensure individual attention, a maximum of six places will be available.
Fabric, Patterns and all your Sewing essentials needed for this course will be available for you to buy from Karen Delahunty Sewing and Knitting Centre.
Sewing Machines are provided for you to use during class.
